What does it take to get the minicup series to really take off and grow ? I am still putting mine together but ,I have already bought enough parts to see it a little cheaper than karts....The travel will be the only bad part.
It would be nice to see the Virginia and South Carolina classes get together at Hickory or Bowman Gray Stadium.

When you say "Virginia" group, who do you mean? There are 3 seperate groups running in Va. VMCRA, SESMC, SVSRL. VMCRA is rigid chassis stock sealed engine, I mean stock!. SVSRL and SESMC are both suspension groups having practically the same rules. Basically stock engine with .930 carb, SRL spec cam and upgraded springs. SC group have rigid chassis buit can be offset and wider track width. Thier stock group and VMCRA should be very comparable.

Virginia vmcra...for several reasons.....to me it seems to be the most affordable from what I have seen.It is closer in rules to the semca. And lastly.....i have a rigid car already.

We have a dozen or so mini cup racers in the area I live at that want to race but we all can't get together to agree on a rules package. Some have suspended cars, some have ridgids. We have several tracks in our area that would let us get a traveling series together to run at a different track once a week but all of the drivers won't agree on a rules package. That's why mine is parked..

I am about 60 miles north of charlotte Nc...I would luv to get people in this area intrested in the minicups . There are several that race legends and bandelero divisions but from what I have seen you could build a great mini stock or sportsman for the cost of them.

There is a group that races at Concord Speedway. They came to Franklin County and raced with us.
